There's a feeling I chase every year when the first green shows up on the hillside behind my workshop that quiet, insistent pull of something starting over. That's the feeling I built into this one.
Every strand in this cuff was bundled and wound by hand, one wire at a time, until seven or eight came together as one some smooth, some hand-textured, one wound tight like a little spring at the center. The ends I finish with a coiled wire collar, wrapped the same way my mother once wrapped fence wire on the ranch.
Copper's been worn against skin for thousands of years, long before anyone needed a reason. People who start wearing it tend to keep wearing it, and their days seem to move a little easier for it.
I hope this one finds its way to a wrist that's ready for something new.
